Healthy Snacks During the Day
 
Due to our daily activities or our job, our body demands snacking in between meals. It is also very common to have a convenience store close to you, especially in big cities, and for many people this will be the first choice when feeling hungry.
 
We are not telling you to stop eating. On the contrary, we are giving you some tips to gain energy while eating healthy snacks.
 
1. Amaranth bars. These healthy candies with honey are great. Aztecs already vested nutrients to amaranth, and they provide us with healthier and lasting energy.
 
2. Nuts and seeds. If you live in a cold area, your body demands a higher caloric rate. The natural thing will be to look for chocolate, sugar, cookies, and bread. Walnuts are high in protein and omega 3, and also help reducing cholesterol levels.
 
3. Banana. A high potassium fruit which make you feel satisfied. You can also try the different types that exist like the Dominic banana (the tiny ones), purple or apple bananas (also known as Manzano banana with a mild flavor with notes of both fruits).
 
4. Dried fruit. Cranberries, raisins, prunes or apricots are outstanding energy sources when you feel little “down” in the middle of the day. Some are more effective than others, but they all have high levels of antioxidants and are good digestives.
