10 Habits that Will Improve your Life
Feeling and looking good is easier than you think. To reach your goals just follow some easy steps.
1. Eat healthy. This might be the first and most important step to improve your life. Try eating more organic and less processed foods.
2. Rest properly. Sleep from 6 to 8 hours a day. Oversleeping makes you feel tired, but if you don’t sleep enough, you are susceptible of catching respiratory diseases.
3. Meditate. This helps you improve your concentration and relieve work stress.
4. Drink enough water. As you know, most of our body is water. If you don’t drink enough water you might start feeling tired. Thirst is the first warning of dehydration so we recommend you drink enough water throughout the day.
5. Workout. Take at least 15 minutes a day to exercise. You will feel revitalized, and in good shape.
6. Enjoy sunbathing. Getting a mild tan from time to time will make your levels of vitamin E rise. This natural antioxidant improves your skin’s elasticity and makes it look better.
7. Avoid smoking. If you think that having just one cigarette helps you feel more relaxed after a stressful day, we’re sure you will quit smoking when you know it not only inhibits brain oxygenation but it also affects your lungs and predisposes you for cancer.
8. Lower your alcohol drinking. Having a couple of drinks from time to time is perfectly fine. However, drinking continuously makes you gain fat around your waist and increases your chances of having diabetes, heart attacks or high-blood pressure.
9. Manage your anxiety. Start your breathing exercises or try meditating on the spot if you can, whenever a situation makes you anxious.
10. Take time for yourself. Once a week, take some time off your daily routine to do things you like and forget about everything else. Do the things you really love like watching a movie, reading a book, playing tennis or take cooking classes. This increases your energy, raises your self esteem and makes you feel happy.
